M.Tech/M.Phil/JRF(Ph.D)Admissions 2011-2012

Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to M.Tech/M.Phil/JRF(Ph.D) courses of Academic Year 2011-12.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates of all categories should possess minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade in aggregate of the qualifying degree. However, for admission to M.Phil (English) candidates under SC/ST Categories are eligible with 50% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade in MA English. Requirement of minimum percentage of marks may be waived off for the teachers who have joined the teaching profession on or before February 28,1993.
Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination may also apply for admission. However, they will be required to submit their final result of the qualifying examination latest by 31st October, 2011.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION:
M. Tech/M. Phil
:
The application form has to be submitted online, which is available in the link: http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/admissions/mtech_notice.htm up to March 31, 2011 (1800 hrs.). For online submission of form the candidates should first get a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favor of "REGISTRAR, INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES" payable at DHANBAD. One copy of the completed application form along with requisite documents (self-attested and photocopies on both sides, wherever applicable) and the demand draft of Rs. 500/- should reach Assistant Registrar (Academic) Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad 826 004 latest by April 7, 2011.

Ph.D:
Detailed application form for different programmes along with eligibility criteria can be downloaded from the website http ://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/admissions/phd notice.htm upto March 31, 2011 (1800 hrs.). The completed application form along with requisite documents (self-attested and photocopies on both sides, wherever, applicable) and a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of "REGISTRAR, INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES" payable at DHANBAD, should reach Assistant Registrar (Academic) Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad 826 004 latest by April 7, 2011. On the top of the envelope please mention "Application form for ISM JRF - Ph. D. Admission"
