Pre-Shiksha Shastri (B.-Ed. Entrance) Test (CPSST) on 08-05-2011 (Sunday)
The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, will conduct Combined Pre-Shiksha Shastri (B.-Ed. Entrance) Test (CPSST) on 08-05-2011 (Sunday) from 10 am to 12.40 pm at specified centres in different parts of the country. This combined test is meant for admission to the following three deemed universities
1. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi,
2. Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati (A.P.) &
3. Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi.
ELIGIBILITY:
The following categories of students are eligible for admission to CPSST examination.
1. Those who have passed Shastri/B.A. (Skt.) under 10+2+3 pattern or
2. Those who have passed two year degree course of Shastri/B.A.(Skt.) followed by pass either in bridge course “Setu” examination or in 1st year of Acharya/M.A. (Skt.) examination or
3. Those who have passed Acharya/M.A.(Skt.).
The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/PH 45%) in the respective qualifying examinations. Reservation will be given as per norms of Govt. of India. The students appearing in the final year of Shastri or B.A. examination (with Sanskrit)of recognized universities/institutions can also apply but they will have to produce the proof of eligibility at the time of admission. Minimum age is 20 years on or before 01-10.2011.
