The next Paper Based Management Aptitude Test, conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to the Management Programmes in Participating Institutions will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on May 1, 2011 (Sunday).

Computer Based Management Aptitude Test will be held from 7th May 2011 (Saturday) onwards in different time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.

Applicant should be a Graduate in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply. There is no age bar. Job experience is not necessary.

Applications can be submitted by any one of the following modes.
(i) Application form with MAT Bulletin/CD can be obtained from selected branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, and listed Study Centres of AIMA against payment of Rs 1200 /- by cash. The list of outlets is available at
http://www.aima-ind.org/mat_general-may.aspx They can also be obtained on payment of Rs 1050/- by cash from AIMA, New Delhi.
(ii) Application can be registered online at
www.aima-ind.org/matmay11 after obtaining a crossed Demand Draft for Rs 1050/- from any Bank, drawn in favour of ‘All India Management Association’, payable at Delhi. Detailed procedure is available at the website link.
(iii) Applications can be registered online at
www.aima-ind.org/matmay11 and fee paid with Credit Card. Detailed procedure is given at the website link.

The last date for sale of forms and the last date for online registration is April 6, 2011 (Wednesday).

Last Date for submission of filled in Registration Forms/Online Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi is April 9, 2011 (Saturday).

List of Test Centres is available at the appropriate link http://www.aima-ind.org/mat_general-may.aspx. It is also available in the bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different.

The Paper-Based Test will take place only on 1st May 2011 from 10 am to 12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place from 7th May 2011 onwards in different time slots. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day, the test will be completed on 7th May 2011 itself. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is few in a particular centre, these candidates will have to appear for the Paper-Based Test on 1st May 2011 only. One candidate can appear only for one date for the May 2011 MAT.

MAT will be an objective type test with multiple-choice answers. The test is designed to measure a person’s general aptitudes and will consist of 5 sections, namely, Language Comprehension; Mathematical Skills; Data Analysis and Sufficiency; Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment, with 40 questions from each section.
