PhD Program (Chemistry) Admissions 2011

Applications are sought from suitably qualified and highly motivated students willing to pursue research in the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad in the following areas of the Chemistry:

1. Electrochemistry
2. Catalysis & Nano materials
3. Organic Synthesis
4. Organometallic Chemistry

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates with a MSc, ME (with MSc Chemistry), MTech (with MSc Chemistry) are eligible to apply. They should have at least 60% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE / UGC - NET-JRF / CSIR - NET-JRF or any other equivalent national level examination.

General, OBC, SC and ST candidate have to pay the fees (Rs. 200/-) through the Bank Challan. The bank challan form can be downloaded using the link:

The challan should be in favour of "Registrar, IIT Hyderabad" payable at Hyderabad.

Completed applications are to reach The Head, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Ordnance Factory Campus, Yeddumailaram-502205, Andhra Pradesh on or before 15th April 2011.
