All India/NRI/Kashmiri Migrant Admissions 2011

Mahamaya Technical University, C-22, Sector-62, Noida, G.B. Nagar – 201301 (U.P.), has invited online applications for admissions to the seats as mentioned below for the Academic Year 2011-12:

1. Admissions on All India Quota seats in Private Institutions in B.Tech. , B.Arch. & MBA Courses:

Application are invited online for admission in B.Tech, B.Arch. & MBA courses on All India Quota seats, which have been reserved upto 20% of total seats, in Private Institutions affiliated to Gautam Budha Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida (Earlier jointly known as U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. Out of these All India Quota seats 10% seats will be filled through all India merit candidates without reservation and remaining 10% seats will be filled through by U.P. State domicile candidates based on U.P. State rank of AIEEE/CAT/ MAT as applicable and with state reservation policy.

For B.Tech., B.Arch. courses the admission will be granted on the basis of AIEEE-2011 rank.
For M.B.A. course the admission will be granted on the basis of CAT-2011 score/rank or MAT-2011 score/rank and GD/Interviews.


2. Admission under NRI quota in B.Tech. & B.Arch. Courses:

Applications are invited for admissions to the Govt. aided institutions of Engineering & Technology in U.P. on 5% seats of total intake under NRI quota as per AICTE norms and approval; from the son/daughter and real brother/sister of NRIs. Applications from the children of real brother/sister and son/daughter of NRIs may also be considered for admission in govt. aided institutions, if the seats remain vacant after the admission of NRI, or the son/daughter or the real sister/brother of NRI. Candidates seeking admission under this quota must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subjects in Intermediate or equivalent examination. As per guidelines of Council of Architecture the candidate seeking admission for B.Arch. will have to appear in an aptitude test especially designed to assess the candidates’ aptitude.

3. Admission for Sons/Daughters of Kashmiri Migrants to First Year of B.Tech./B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.)/B.Pharma/ BHMCT/B.Arch./BFAD:

One seat is available in each Technical institution/Professional institutions in each programme (B.Tech/B.Pharm./B.HMCT /B.Arch./BFAD) affiliated to Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University Noida (Earlier jointly known as - U P Technical University, Lucknow) for sons and daughters of Kashmiri Migrants who have secured at least 50% marks in Qualifying Subjects at 10+2 level or equivalent examination as mentioned in Information Brochure and as available on website-www.mtu.ac.in

HOW TO APPLY: Eligible candidates may submit their online applications for admission against All India Quota seats/ NRI/Kashmiri Migrant quota by logging on to website www.mtu.ac.in or www.gbtu.ac.in from any internet access point from 10 AM on 15th May, 2011 to midnight of 10th June, 2011 following the procedure given on website. After completing the online application form and submission the candidate should take printout of completed application form. Candidate should retain his/her copy and complete the other copy by attaching with photograph and signature and post the same along with Bank challan duly verified by Bank for having deposited Rs. 1000/- as fee.


Duly completed online Application Form in hard copy should be sent by Speed post/Registered post only to the Registrar, Mahamaya Technical University, C-22, Sector-62, Noida, G.B. Nagar – 201301 (U.P.).

Last date for submission of completed application form in the University is 15th June, 2011, 5 PM.

COUNSELLING: Admission will be made through a process of counselling (based on the relative merit of the applicants). At the time of counselling, the candidates have to deposit Original documents and a set of photocopies of (1) Marksheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination, (2) 10th (High School) Certificate (3) Proof of claimed category and eligibility (Kashmiri Migrants/NRI and relationship certificates) (4) Three recent passport size coloured photographs. An initial fee of Rs. 5000/- in the form of Crossed Bank Draft and counselling fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of A/C payee bank draft in favour of Finance Officer, Mahamaya Technical University, Noida” payable at Noida, is to be deposited at the time of counselling.
