Applications in the prescribed form for the Admission & Registration to Post-graduation, Degree / Diploma Courses, May, 2012 in the following subjects for the seats mentioned against each subject, are invited from the candidates, who have passed MBBS examination from a MCI recognized Medical College, have completed one year Internship and are duly registered with the State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
Degrees:
Medicine-4, Skin & Vd- 1 Paediatrics-2, Surgery-4, Ent-2, Opthalmology-2, Orthopaedics-2, Anaesthesiology-2, Obst. & Gynae-2, Community Medicine-5, Radiology-2, Psychiatry-1, Anatomy-2, Physiology-2, Biochemistry-2, Pharmacology-4, Pathology-4, Microbiology-5, Forensic Medicine-2.
Diplomas:
DGO-4, DA-1, DORTHO-2, DCH-2, DMRD-2, DOMS-1, DLO-1, DPM-1, DDVL- 1
Admissions to Postgraduate studies shall be given only to those candidates who have rendered Rural Health Service, with pay, for a minimum period of one year by 31st December 2011 and are ready to do one year more rural service after completing the PG course
The application form along with PG Admission Rules will be available from the Office of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram on payment of Rs 1000 in Cash or Rs. 1100 (including postal charges) by Demand Draft from any Nationalized bank payable at Sevagram or Wardha in favour of the 'Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram' (full correspondence address & phone number of the candidate to be provided).
The application form complete in all respects must reach the Office of the Dean latest by 12th December, 2011.
Candidates who have passed MBBS from MGIMS are required to be present in the Committee Room of MGIMS, Sevagram at their own cost on 6th January, 2012 at 10.30 AM for verification of original documents and allotment of seat by the admission committee. Selected candidates will have to join the Institute by 12th January, 2012.
