are invited for the following assignment in a purely time-bound DST Sponsored
research project undertaken in the Department of Chemistry of the Indian
Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala PO, Thiruvananthapuram-
695 547.

Duration of the Project: One year. Extendable on need and performance basis

Consolidated monthly remuneration `12,000/-

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in any branches of Chemistry with First
Class or equivalent with CSIR-UGC NET Lectureship, or GATE (valid qualified
Score).

Age limit as on 28.12.2012: 28 years. Age relaxation applicable as per
Government of India orders.
General
Conditions/ Instructions:
o
Only Indian Nationals need apply.
o
Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview, as the
case may be, based on merit.
o
Candidates shortlisted for written test/interview should appear in person with
original certificates proving educational qualification, age, caste, experience
etc., along with any other relevant information (like copies of publication
awards, recommendations etc.)
o
No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the written
test/interview.
o
Tenure of the JRF will be initially for a period of One year and will be
extendable on need basis based on performance.
o
The Institute reserves the right to terminate the assignment at any time before
completion of the contract appointment, if it so decides.
o
The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the position, if it so decides.
o
No interim correspondence will be entertained.
o
A ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned in respect of those
applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector
Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies.
o
Candidates should enclose attested true copies of the relevant certificate/
testimonials along with the application.
o
Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
