NOTIFICATION
Nitte University
will be conducting Nitte University All India Entrance Test for Post Graduate Medical and Dental
Courses NUPGET-2013 on 06-01-2013 for
candidates seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS in its constituent colleges,
namely K.S Hegde Medical Academy and A.B
Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year
2013-14. Eligible candidates desiring to
appear for the Entrance
Test may download the application form from our
website www.nitte.edu.in.
The last date of receipt of application for NUPGET – 2013 by the Registrar, Nitte University is
31-12-2012.
The Test Centres are:
Bengaluru / Mumbai / Delhi / Ernakulam / Mangalore
The selection of candidates, however, is dependent
on the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court on NEET.

NUPGET – 2013
Admission to MD/MS and MDS courses offered by Nitte University is based on Merit
in the All India Entrance Test for PG
courses NUPGET – 2013 conducted by the University. Based on inter se Merit in the Entrance
Test, students will be admitted to MD/MS
and MDS program in the constituent colleges, namely, K.S Hegde Medical Academy,
Mangalore and A.B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences,
respectively, during the year 2013-14.
Eligibility:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall
be eligible to appear for the Entrance
Test, namely:
1. He/she is a citizen of India
2. He/she must have studied and passed courses
leading to the award of Bachelor’s Degree (MBBS or BDS as the case may be) from
a college recognized by the MCI for
MD/MS candidates and DCI for MDS candidates.
3. He/she has completed or is completing compulsory rotatory internship on
or before 30th April 2013.
4. Must be less than 45 years of age as on
30-4-2013.
Note: Applications are liable for rejection if
1. Incomplete
2. Received after the last date
3. Not signed by the candidate himself/herself
wherever signature of the candidate
appears.
4. Photographs are not of recent origin
Entrance
Test Fee
The candidates are required to pay the Entrance
Test fee of Rs. 1,000/- through A/c Payee Demand Draft in
favour of “NITTE UNIVERSITY” payable at MANGALORE.
Submission
The filled
application with all relevant documents should be sent to the Registrar, Nitte University, Deralakatte,
Mangalore (D.K) – 575 018 by Speed Post so as to reach before the last date or may be handed over in
person at the University Office on any working Day before the last date. Candidates should super scribe the sealed
envelope carrying application form : “Application for NUPGET-2013”.
Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for the Entrance Test
will be sent by post to the postal address furnished by the candidate in
the TAT.

General
Instructions:
1. CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC gadgets are NOT permitted
inside the Examination Hall. Any
candidate found guilty of disorderly or improper conduct during the test will
be liable for expulsion and will be debarred from writing the Entrance Test by
the CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT of the Centre
2. The candidates shall appear for the Entrance Test at their own cost, in
any one of the centres as per the choice indicated by them in their application
form and TAT. PRIOR PERMISSION SHOULD BE
SOUGHT FOR CHANGE OF CENTRE through the e-mail.

3. Each candidate will be given a TAT number and
the Test Admission Ticket will bear this number. Seating arrangements with this number will be
displayed at the Test Centre.
4. Candidates shall
be present at the centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of
the test.
5. Only those candidates who possess the Test
Admission Ticket shall be allowed to write the Entrance Test. However, a duplicate may be issued against a payment
of Rs. 100.
6. No candidate shall be admitted to the Hall 15
minutes after the commencement of the Test.
7. No candidate will be allowed to leave the Hall
before the end of first 30 minutes.
Candidates leaving the hall prior to the end of
test will have to handover thequestion
paper and OMR Sheet to the room invigilator and collect the question paper only
after the Test is over. No candidate
will leave the room without handing over the OMR Sheet.
8. Candidates should sign the Attendance Sheet as
per the instructions of the invigilator.
9. Candidates appearing for the Entrance Test will
also have to register BIOMETRICALLY
their presence in the Hall.
10.Photograph of each candidate exhibiting his/her
TAT in his/her hand in the Test Hall will be taken. And any discrepancy/malpractice such as
impersonation will lead to disqualifying the candidate and criminal procedure
will be initiated.
