 Admission to MBA (Part-Time – Evening) Program for Working Executives

Applications are invited for admissions to the 3-year Part-Time (Evening) MBA Program with focus on 'Technology Management' designed to impart management education to working executives. This program is aimed at enabling the managers to effectively contribute in evolving core competencies in Indian industry. Along with the above focus, a student can also specialize in the major functional streams such as Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Human Resources Management, Operations and Information Systems Management. The Classes are scheduled during evening hours (6.15 pm onwards) on 4 or 5 working days (Monday to Friday).

Eligibility
                Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy / B.Sc. (Agricultural Engineering) [Minimum 4 years after 10+2].

OR
                Master's degree in any branch of Physical / Chemical / Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational / Information Science, Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce / Economics, CA / ICWAI.
                Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (Cumulative for all the years / semesters) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the above mentioned degree program.
                There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
                A minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying degree work experience as on 01 August 2013.


Reservation as per Government of India rules
Admission Process includes a Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Weightage will be given to professional background in terms of higher performance in the qualifying degree/diplomas and work experience. Written Test is designed in four components to assess Verbal, Analytical, Quantitative / Data Interpretation abilities and Business Awareness. Note the following important date(s):

1.       Online Submission of Application Form begins on 25 February 2013 (Monday)
2.       Last Date of receipt of Print copy of Application Form with Demand Draft 14 March 2013 (Thursday)
3.       Written Test : 14 April 2013 (Sunday) (10:00-12:00 hours)
4.       Group Discussion & Interview: 27-28 April 2013 (Saturday-Sunday)
5.       Declaration of Admission Results: 13 May 2013 (Monday)
6.       Classes begin: 23 July 2013 (Tuesday)


How to Apply
Desirous candidates should apply on prescribed form available at I.I.T. Delhi website: www.iitd.ac.in. Candidates have to submit the Application Form online and also take a printout of the same and send it to the following address alongwith a Bank Draft of Rs. One Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 1,500) in favour of “Registrar, I.I.T. Delhi” so as to reach on or before 14 March 2013 (Thursday) to:

Written Test
Candidates should report at the examination hall (as mentioned in the admit card) at 09:00 hours on 14 April 2013 (Sunday) for written test. Admit card can be downloaded from the link provided above.
Based on the result of the Written Test, the short-listed candidates will be invited for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The list of these candidates will be displayed on the above mentioned link on 13 May 2013.
