Admission Notice RET - 2013
Applications are invited for enrolment in Ph.D.
program in Botany from Post Graduate students of Botany (or allied disciplines,
subject to endorsement by the concerned Ph. D Committee). Maximum up to 45
candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.
The candidates are advised to download the format
of the application form from the University website (Admission notification)
and submit the fille d-in application to the Head, Department of Botany, C. U.
after paying Rs.100/ - in cash or demand draft to the cash section of the
University within 24th April, 2013. The eligibility of the candidate will be as
per UGC rules.
The test will be for 50 marks of one hour duration.
There will be 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQ), each of 1 mark. The list of
the finally selected candidates would be posted in the Departmental Notice
Board.
Those who have qualified in
NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship or already obtained M.Phil/ M.tech/ M.Pharm
degree would be exempted from the examination as per UGC rules. They are to
appear for an interview on the scheduled date.

and submit the filled-in application to the Head, Department of Botany, C. U.

Calcutta University within 24th April, 2013.
