CSIR-NCL Invites Applications for Ph.D. Programme, January 2014 Session

The National Chemical Laboratory, Pune a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme from eligible candidates.

Eligibility for Ph.D. (Science): Candidates holding a Master's degree in Chemical / Physical / Biological and related Sciences / Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology / Medicine or B.S (of 4 year duration) and having a valid National level research fellowship offer (JRF/SRF) of various funding agencies (CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, BINC, DSTetc), INSPIRE or other equivalent research fellowships.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online at http://acsir.res.in. Online application will close on October 24, 2013. For more details about application and admission procedures, and to know more about AcSIR, candidates are requested to visit the website http://acsir.res.in.

Candidates who want to apply directly to NCL can download the application form at http://www.ncl-india.org and send the duly filled application to "The Chairman, Students Academic Office, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pune 411008" so as to reach on or before October24, 2013.

NB: Those who apply online through AcSIR giving NCL as preference need not again apply directly to NCL. List of shortlisted candidates called for test/interview (tentatively on November 18 & 19) will be displayed in CSIR-NCL website on October 31, 2013.

Applications of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellows (SPMF) will be considered for direct admission.
