NOTIFICATION
M.D.(SIDDHA) General Application 2013-2014 Entrance
Exam will be held on 23-10-2013 AT 09.30 am.

Exam will be held on 23-10-2013 AT 09.30 am
Applications
are invited from General, Special Categories including Foreign Candidates from
Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore for Admission to 94 seats in three years
M.D(Siddha) Post-Graduate course 2013-14 session in the Government Siddha
Medical Colleges at Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District and at Chennai.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION (INDIAN / FOREIGN CANDIDATES)
Candidates
should possess a Degree in Siddha which finds place in Schedule III and IV of
the IMCC Act 1970 of Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.
A proof should be enclosed. Candidates should have
registered their names with the Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai.
Candidates, who have qualified from other than T.N. Dr.M.G.R. Medical
University, should submit the Eligibility Certificate obtained from T.N.
Dr.M.G.R Medical University and enclose the same with the application form.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: (INDIAN CANDIDATES)
Application forms and prospectus may be downloaded
from the Health Department website: www.tnhealth.org
Application forms are not issued by the
Selection Committee or by this Directorate. Filled in downloaded applications
along with enclosures should be submitted before the last date along
with a crossed demand draft for the value of
Rs.1,250/- (Rupees One thousand two hundred and fifty only) towards the
application fee. SC/SCA/ST candidates domiciled in Tamil Nadu are exempted from
the payment of application fee of Rs.1,250/-. The crossed Demand Draft should
be drawn in favour of ‘DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY, CHENNAI 600
106 made payable at CHENNAI from any Nationalized Bank obtained on or after 01-10-2013.
4. The completed applications together with
enclosures should reach “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of
Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian
Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106, Tamil Nadu” in the cover prescribed
by the due date. Applications received after the due date and time for any
reason including postal / courier service delay shall be rejected.
Last date for receipt of filled in application 17-10-2013 upto 5.00 p.m

5. APPLICATION PROCEDURE ( FOR FOREIGN
CANDIDATES)
Foreign candidates shall follow the same procedure
as for Indian candidates but they shall correspond only to the Secretary,
Selection Committee, Office of the Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy,
Chennai 106, Tamil Nadu for any clarification. However, they shall pay, without
exemption, a sum of USD 25 (US$ Twenty five only) by IMO or Banker’s demand
draft payable on a Nationalized Bank at Chennai. Applications from foreign
candidates downloaded from our website www.tnhealth.org ” , complete in all
respects, accompanied by required demand draft towards the application fee
should reach on
or before 19-10-2013 upto 5.00 pm.
