Course in Urdu Journalism, 2013-14
IIMC, an Internationally-known centre for training
and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous body under the Ministry of
Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, invites applications for the
following courses.
Diploma Course in Journalism (Urdu), New Delhi.
Duration:
November 2013 to April 2014
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Good Knowledge of Urdu.
Date of
Birth: 1.8.1983 or later.
No. of Seat:
25.
Hostel: No
Hostel facility is available.
Fees: Rs.
15,000/-.
Entrance Examination:
At IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, JNU New Campus, New Delhi-110067 on 20 October
2013 (Sunday).
Interview:
First week of November in Delhi. Dates will be intimated to candidates who
clear the written Entrance Examination.
Application:
1. Application forms can be purchased in person or
by post.
Application forms and prospectus can be obtained
from IIMC, New Delhi on payment of Rs. 500/- through a demand draft only drawn
on any scheduled bank payable to "Registrar IIMC" at New Delhi.
Request for application forms should be accompanied
by a Demand Draft & a self-addressed, stamped (Rs. 70/-) envelope (27x17
cm).
2. For download Application process
The application form can be download from www.iimc.gov.in. Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of
Registrar, IIMC New Delhi must also be sent seprately, along with the duly filled-in
downloaded application form.
Sale of Application forms begins from 23 September 2013.
Completed application forms with DD should reach Registrar,
IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 on or before 10/10/2013.
Last date for sale of application forms is also 10/10/2013.
