Applications
have been invited by the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Acharya Nagarjuna
University, Nagarjunanagar – 522510., A.P for admission to Research Courses,
viz. M.Phil and Ph.D of Academic Session December 2013.
PROCEDURE
FOR GETTING APPLICATION:
Applicants can download the application form from
University website and enclose a Demand Draft for
Rs.1000/- (non refundable) drawn in favour of
Director, Directorate of Admissions, payable at Andhra Bank, ANU Campus Branch
(Code No. 1508) or State Bank of India, NU Campus Branch (Code No. 4793).
Applicant should invariably write his/her Name and
Address on the reverse side of the DD (DD’s drawn on other banks other than
mentioned above are not acceptable).

ELIGIBILITY:
A) FULL -
TIME RESEARCH :
1. Rank in The Entrance Test
2. M. Phil. / Ph.D.: Candidates must have passed
Master’s Degree of this University or any other recognized University in the
concerned or related subject. They must secure not less than 55% of marks.
However, in case of SC and ST candidates, a relaxation of 5% of marks is
permitted.
* Attendance is compulsory for Full-time Research
Scholar as per the UGC rules.
B) PART - TIME RESEARCH :
For admission into Research under Part-Time
programme, a Candidate has to satisfy the following conditions:
1. Rank in The Entrance Test
2. M. Phil. / Ph.D.: Candidates must have passed
Master’s Degree of this University or any other recognized University in the
concerned or related subject. They must secure not less than 55% of marks.
However, in case of SC and ST candidates, a relaxation of 5% of marks is
permitted.
3. i. A teacher with at least 5 or 3 or 2 years of
Full-time teaching experience in a recognized Polytechnic/Junior College or
Degree College / Oriental College or Professional / PG College respectively.

ii. An employee possessing at least 5 years of
research experience in a cadre not lower
than that of research assistant working in a research institution run by the State Government or Central Government or
in a recognized institution funded by
organizations like UGC / CSIR / CSSR / DST / DAE and such other agencies.

iii. A gazetted officer with PG Qualification and
having 5 years of professional experience
(OR)
iv. An Executive having PG Qualification and 10
years experience in Public Limited Company or quasi Government Organization.
Note: Service Certificate issued by the Principal
of the College or the Head of the Institution is valid for computing the length
of service for the admission into part-time research course of the University.

1. Acknowledgement Card (Post Card) duly filled
with your address
2. Hall ticket (Original and Duplicate) duly filled
and pasted with attested Photographs
3. Three self Addressed Envelopes with Postage of
Rs.10/- each
PLEASE
ENCLOSE PHOTOSTAT COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES ALONG WITH YOUR
APPLICATION:
1. Evidence of having passed the Qualifying
Examination (Provisional Certificate or O.D.)
2. Copies of Marks Statements of Qualifying
Examination, T.C., and C.C.
3. Caste Certificate issued by M.R.O in case of SC
/ ST / BC Candidates
4. Local Candidate Certificate
5. Candidates for Admission under Part-time
Research are required to submit a ‘No Objection’ Certificate and Experience
Certificate with number of years of service issued by competent authority.
6. Migration Certificate
7. Copy of the relevant certificate if reservation
is claimed under PH/ NCC/ SPORTS/ CAP.
NOTE: - 1. The applicants are required to send the
application by Registered Post / Speed
Post to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjunanagar -522 510, A.P.
Candidates are advised not to send
applications by Courier service. The Directorate of Admissions is not
responsible
for late or loss of applications in Postal transit.
2. The Centre and Time of Entrance Examination will
be intimated later.
