Our
Institute uses CAT Scores for short listing/selecting the candidates for our Post
Graduate Programmes in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Industrial Safety and
Environmental Management (PGDISEM). The Candidates should follow the CAT
advertisement of IIMs for procurement of CAT 2013 Voucher. However, IIMs have
no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the Programme.
ELIGIBILITY/ SELECTION: Engineering/Technology
graduates in any branch with aggregate 60% marks (relaxable by 5% in case of
SC/ST/PD candidates) and with valid CAT (Common Admission Test) score.
Admission is based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview with appropriate
weightage to CAT score, work experience and academic performance. As per Govt,
of India rules, reservation of seats exists for SC/ST/OBC and PD candidates.
SC/ST
candidates are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt, of
India vide letters No. 11016/19/2005.SCD-1 dated 21.06.2007 and
No.19012/36/-5-Education dated 27.06.2007 subject to the satisfactory
fulfillment of terms and conditions mentioned therein. Final year
Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they secure
aggregate 60% marks in the qualifying degree and intimate before June 27,2014.
Only shortlisted candidates wil be called for Group Discussion and Personal
Interview at NITIE,
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Interested
candidates should apply separately for each programme through on-line mode only:
1) Online Application: Candidates shall fill the application form
ONLINE. Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates)
and applicable bank charges can be paid in the form of challan (downloadable
from NITIE website) in any branch of State Bank of India. Online payment option
is also available for SBI Account holders through l-Collect facility.
Hard copy
of the filled-in SUMMARY SHEET duly signed by the candidate should be sent to
the address given below along with Institute's copy of the challan. For

Sponsored Seats: A few seals in PGDISEM are available for Sponsored Candidates.
Sponsored Candidates must be from reputed Industrial Organizations/Academic
Institutions. The Candidates must have aggregate 60% marks in
Engineering/Technology with two years of full time work experience as on June
15"12014. The candidates applying under the Sponsored Category
should also fill-in the Sponsorship Form. For detailed instructions please
