MCA Admission Notice 2014-2015 (Other State Candidates)
Applications have been invited by Anna University,
Chennai for Admission to MCA Degree Course for the seats reserved for Other
State Candidates in University Departments of Anna University for the academic
year 2014 - 2015.
ELIGIBILITY:
A pass in a recognised Bachelor?s degree of minimum
3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2
level or at Graduate level and obtained atleast 50
% in the qualifying degree examination.
(i) 10 + 2 years H.Sc. + 3/4 years bachelor?s
degree Pattern
(or)
(ii) 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years bachelor?s
degree Pattern
(or)
(iii) Candidates with section ?A? & ?B?
certificates and other similar certificate of professional bodies or societies
(e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt.
of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders, only
with 2 years regular full time Teaching / Industrial experience* in the
relevant field after successful completion of the
course including project work.
Candidates should have undergone the study in the
following pattern:
a) 10 + 2 years H.Sc. + AMIE (with 2 years
experience)
(or)
b) 10 + 3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board
of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience)
* An experience certificate has to be produced by
the candidates with AMIE Qualifications.

The Director, Admissions, Anna University? payable at Chennai.
Registration fee for MCA is Rs. 500/-
The last date for registration is 20.06.2014 (5.30
p.m.) and the filled in application with relevant enclosures should reach The
Director (Admissions), Anna University, Chennai ? 600 025 on or before
24.06.2014 (5.30 p.m.)
The candidates are required to enclose only the
attested copies of the following certificates along with the application:
1. Copy of TANCET 2014 Hall Ticket.
2. Copy of Degree Certificate (or) Provisional
Certificate in the case of candidates who have passed
during 2013 or earlier. Candidates appeared for the
final semester / year exam. of the qualifying
degree in April / May 2014 have to enclose a course
completion certificate from the Head of the
institution where the candidate has studied.
3. Copy of X Mark Sheet.
4. Copy of XII Mark Sheet.
5. Copy of Mark Sheets of all semesters/years of
the Qualifying Examination.
6. Self-addressed stamped envelope for counselling
call letter.
