MBA/LLM Admission Notice 2014-2015

Applications have been invited by The Registrar, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai- 600 119 for admission to following courses:

1. MBA (Port & Shipping Management) - Cochin & Chennai

2. MBA (International Transportation & Logistics Management) - Kolkata, Cochin & Chennai

3. LLM in Maritime Law - Chennai

MBA: Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed the following Common Entrance Tests can apply for MBA Courses:

 Common Admission Test (CAT) – 2014

 Management Aptitude Test (MAT) - 2014

 Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) – 2014 or equivalent CETs conducted by other State Governments.

Candidates who have a valid test score in the above CETs conducted for the year 2014 and who have aggregate of 50% marks in Undergraduate Degree (45% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to the above 2 MBA programmes.

LLM: Eligibility:

candidates who have passed the following Common Entrance Test:

 Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) – 2014

Candidates who have a valid test score in the above CET conducted for the year 2014 and who have aggregate of 50% marks in Undergraduate Degree (45% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to the above LLM programmes.

Interested candidates may fill in the application form opt for the MBA programme in any of the above mentioned IMU campuses. The application fee for the General and OBC candidates is Rs.1000/- and for SC/ST candidates is Rs.700/-. The duly filled in application form, a copy of the Bank Challan and the photocopies of the following certificates should be sent to The Registrar, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai-600 119.

1. S.S.L.C Mark sheet

2. Provisional Certificate/Degree Certificate for Under Graduate Course

3. Statement of Marks of all Semester (if provisional certificate is not issued)

4. Community Certificate

5. MBA: Copy of the having Valid Test Score in Common Admission Test (CAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) / Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or equivalent CETs conducted by other State Governments.

LLM : Copy of the having Valid Test Score in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

The last date for receiving the application is Friday 1st August 2014
