Diploma Admission Notice 2015
National
Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai has invited applications
for admission to following courses of Academic Year 2015-16.
1. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL
ENGINEERING (PGDIE) 45th BATCH
2. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANUFACTURING
MANAGEMENT (PGDMM) 2nd BATCH
3. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT (
PGDPM) 2nd BATCH
Eligibility:
GATE
qualified [2014/2015] with 60% Aggregate marks at graduation in
Engineering/Technology in any branch for PGDIE Programme. For PGDPM and PGDMM
students with following engineering disciplines can only apply - mechanical,
production, automobile, chemical, civil, textile, electrical, electronics and
other relevant branches such as industrial engineering, instrumentation and
industrial electronics. GATE qualifiers get Teaching Assistantship @ Rs.8000/-
per month and contingency expenditure as per rules. Admission is based on Group
Discussion and Personal Interview with appropriate weightage to GATE score. Final
year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they secure the
qualifying degree with 60% aggregate marks before June 15, 2015. Only short
listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at
NITIE, Mumbai.

PROCEDURE FOR BOTH THE PROGRAMMES
Interested
candidates can apply to NITIE through ONLINE on http://www.nitie.edu
Application
fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) can be paid online
or in the form of challan (downloadable from NITIE website) in any branch of
State Bank of India or ICICI Bank. Online payment option is also available for
SBI Account holders through l-Collect facility.
Reservation
and 5% relaxation on 60% aggregate marks are applicable to SC/ST/PD candidates
as per Govt, of India rules for the Programmes. Reservation for OBC candidates
belonging Non-Creamy Layer Is as per the government regulations.
Fulfilment
of minimum qualifications is not an automatic claim to be called for Group
Discussion & Interview.
