Master of
Business Administration & Diploma in Healthcare and Hospital Management
Applications are invited for admission to the MBA
(2 years full time) Programme approved by AICTE & UGC and admission to the
Diploma in Healthcare and Hospital Management (1 year full time) Programme.
MBA: Admission of 29 candidates will be through
the all India Entrance Examinations (MAT/CAT/CMAT/JEMAT) followed by Personal
Interview and Group Discussion. Reservation of seats as per rules.
DHHM: Admission of 15 candidates will be through
written test conducted by the Department of Business Administration, University
of Kalyani followed by Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Reservation of
seats as per rules.
Information Brochure along with Application Fee
challan & Application forms (MBA/DHHM) can be downloaded from the
University website- www.klyuniv.ac.in from 15th May’15 until 29th May’15. Applicants
shall make a payment of Rs. 500/- [Rs. 300/- for SC/ST] as application fee
through Bank Challan to be deposited in any branch of SBI. Fee collection
charge by the Bank is additional. Forms shall be submitted at Admission Section
of University of Kalyani during 11.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m. on all working days
excepting Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 15th May 2015 to 29th May 2015.
Application with Challan may also be sent within 29th May 2015 by Speed Post or
Registered Post at: Admission Section, University of Kalyani, Kalyani – 741235,
Nadia, West Bengal, India.
Eligibility:
MBA: Graduate in Science/ Arts/Commerce or Graduate in Management/ Engineering
or 5 years Law.
DHHM:
Graduate in any discipline.

Attendance and Examination:
In order to become eligible for appearing in a
semester examination a candidate shall have to pursue a regular course of
studies in the subject and attend at least 75% of the theoretical and practical
classes separately during each semester.
Placement Facility:
Since placement of successful students constitute
an important aspect of the responsibility of the institutions offering
professional course, such as MBA, the University takes necessary steps for the
students’ exposure and healthy interaction with the problems of industry. Placement
is matter of joint initiative of the students and the University.
Hostel Facilities:
Accommodation in the University hostels shall be
available to the students taking admission to the course as per the University
rules. Students have to bear the hostel charges and rent as per University
rules.

Ragging is totally banned and anyone found guilty
of ragging and / or abetting ragging is liable to punished. Students and their
parents are required to sign affidavit for this purpose.
Note: In matters other than those mentioned above,
the rules, practices and principles prevailing in the University shall be
applied.
