PG Entrance Examination 2015

Applications are invited for admission to the PG Programmes having entrance examinations for the Academic year 2015-16.

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY
1. M.Sc. General Biotechnology:
Degree (10+2+3) with 55% marks in Biotechnology, Bio-Informatics, Biochemistry, Micro Biology, Botany, Zoology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc, B.Pharm, Life Sciences of this University or any other equivalent Degree approved by the University.

2. MSc Health and Yoga Therapy:
Any graduate in Medical Science MBBS, BAMS, BHMS/Graduate in Biological Sciences eg: Zoology, Biochemistry, Dietetics & Nutrition, Microbiology, Home Science, Bio Technology, Clinical Psychology, Physiology, Chemistry, any other Science graduate; any Humanities and Commerce graduate. Any graduate from education or Physical Education Faculty. Should produce a medical certificate for organic fitness. A minimum of 45% marks should be obtained for graduation. 45% should be obtained for selection test.

3. MSW:
Bachelors Degree in any discipline recognised by the University of Calicut with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Aggregate marks means the total marks obtained for part - I English and part III(main and subsidiary) subjects. For those disciplines, which do not have English, only main and subsidiary marks will be taken into consideration.

4. M.C.J:
Bachelor degree of this University or any other University recognised as equivalent by Calicut University with an aggregate of 45% marks. Professional graduates will be considered, if they secure 60% marks in overall subjects. For Back-ward community and SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required to apply will be as per University rules.

5. MSc Applied Psychology:
Bachelor degree of this University or any other University recognised as equivalent by this University with Psychology as one of the papers in Part III either Main or Sub.

6. MSc Clinical Psychology:
Candidates who have passed their Bachelor's Degree recognized by this University with at least 50% marks in any of the following courses.
1. BA/BSc Psychology
2.MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BSc Nursing
3.Bachelor's Degree with Psychology as one of the main or subsidiary subjects.

7. M.Sc. Food Science and Technology:
50% marks in Part III Optional in any B.Sc Degree and approved by this University with Mathematics as one of the optional subject in +2 or B.Sc. Level.

8. Master of Physical Education (MPEd):
A pass in three year BPE or one year BPEd of this University or any other University duly recognized by this University and minimum sports achievements should be a second place in the Inter Collegiate or Inter district competitions (AIU recognized sports) conducted by the Universities in Kerala or recognized sports associations approved by the Kerala Sports Council. The upper age limit to the course shall be 25 years as on the Ist July of the year of admission. Relaxation upto 5 years in age shall be given to those candidates who have participated in inter University Tournaments or National level tournaments or in service candidates (Physical Education teachers) with minimum of 3 years experience and deputed by the appointing authority and SC/ST candidates

9. MSc Radiation Physics (Self financing):
Degree in Physics with 60% marks and with Mathematics as one of the subjects,under regular stream of study (10+2+3) of University of Calicut or any other University/Institution approved by the UGC and recognized as equivalent to by the University of Calicut.

10. M.A. (Folklore):
Any graduation recognised by UGC /Calicut University with a minimum of 45% marks. Those who are having Post-graduation are also eligible for admission.

11. Master of Hospital Administration (MHA):
Pass in any Bachelor Degree of the University of Calicut or institution recognized by the University of Calicut,UGC or AICTE as equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree Programmes of other Universities or institutions under 10+2+3 pattern under regular stream of study with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (without approximation, that is, 49.9999% is not eligible since it is less than 50%) is eligible for admission. SC/ST, OBC and other eligible communities shall be given relaxation as University rules.

12. Master of Visual Communications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline, from an institution recognized by the University of Calicut, with an aggregate of not less than 45%.

Applications shall be submitted on line till 24.06.2015 midnight. Please see the link 'fee remittance' in the Admission Website www.cuonline.ac.in  or the link 'instant web payment system' in the Official Website of the University (www.universityofcalicut.info)  for remitting fee and submitting online application. A fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST Rs.100/) shall be remitted to Calicut University Fund by e-payment (SBT online/SBT echalan/Friends/Akshaya e-chalan).

The print out of applications bearing Passport size Photograph along with the e-chalan receipt and attested copies of certificates as proof of qualifications, age and community should be forwarded to the Head of the Department/Co-ordinator/Director on or before 5 P.M on 26.06.2015.
