Thapar University, BE, BTech Admissions 2011-2012

Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab - 147004 BE, BTech Admissions 2011-2012 Applications have been invited for admission to BE / BTech courses of Thapar University, Patiala for the Academic Year 2011-12. Admission to BE / BTech Programs shall be made on the basis of merit in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2011) to be conducted by CBSE, New Delhi on May 1, 2011. Only those candidates shall be eligible, who score at least 20% (15% for SC / ST) aggregrate marks in AIEEE-2011. In addition, minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregrate of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science at 10+2 or equivalent examination are also required to be eligible for admission. 50% of the seats of BE / BTech program are reserved for the candidates who have passed/(or appearing) in their +2 examination from Institutions located in Punjab. Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained from Counter of Thapar University on payment of Rs.1500/- in cash or by post on sending a DD for the same amount.
