UG NRI Admission Notice 2015
MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing and BPT Admission Written Test ((UG
AT NRI - 2015)
Applications have been invited from NRI Candidates
by Christian Medical College Ludhiana for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing
and BPT (collectively called as UG courses) NRI Seats on the basis of merit
obtained in the Admission Written Test ((UG AT NRI - 2015) to be conducted by
Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on 31st
December 2015 (the date of birth being shown on the Matriculation or Higher
Secondary Certificate or equivalent certificate). Applicants born after 31st
December 1998 are not eligible to apply for admission to Undergraduate courses
starting in July/August 2015.
NATIONALITY
An Indian Cit izen who stays abroad for
employment/carrying on business, to pursue a vocat ion outside India or under
circumstances indicating an intention for an uncertain durat ion of stay abroad
is a non-resident. (Persons posted in U.N. organizat ions and of f icials
deputed abroad by Central/State Governments and Public Sector undertakings on
temporary assignments are also treated as non-residents). Non-resident foreign
citizens of Indian Origin are treated on par with non-resident Indian citizens
(NRIs) for the purpose of certain facilities.
ACADEMIC
REQUIREMENTS
A candidate for admission to MBBS and BDS courses
must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology
and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken
together (40% for SC/BC) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at
the qualifying examination. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing & BPT courses a
Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken
together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and English in 10+2
examination.
For candidates applying from boards out of India,
the marks sheets have to be forwarded to the Association of Indian Universities
(if equivalence certificate is required) and Baba Farid University of Health
Sciences for verification and subsequent issuance of an eligibility
certificate.

SUBMIT APPLICATION:
Applications can be submitted on-line by accessing the
website: www.cmcludhiana.in
The Prospectus can be downloaded from the UG - AT
NRI 2015 MBBS/BDS/B.Sc NURSING/BPT link. Every candidate will be required to
log on to Admissions 2015 on the institutional website.
Completed Online Application should be submitted latest by
23:59 on 26-05-2015.
A completed application for the NRI undergraduate
program consists of the following:
1. Online submission of application form.
2. Remittance of Application fee of Rs. 25500/- (
Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Five Hundred Only, inclusive of Prospectus fee)
Hall Ticket will be generated after verification of
the Online Application form. The Hall Ticket will be available from the Office
of the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana, from 28th May 2015, from 2:00pm ? 5:00pm and
from 8:00am till 10:00am on 29th May 2015
