Applications have been invited from NRI Candidates by Christian Medical College Ludhiana for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing and BPT (collectively called as UG courses) NRI Seats on the basis of merit obtained in the Admission Written Test ((UG AT NRI - 2015) to be conducted by Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on 31st December 2015 (the date of birth being shown on the Matriculation or Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent certificate). Applicants born after 31st December 1998 are not eligible to apply for admission to Undergraduate courses starting in July/August 2015.

NATIONALITY

An Indian Cit izen who stays abroad for employment/carrying on business, to pursue a vocat ion outside India or under circumstances indicating an intention for an uncertain durat ion of stay abroad is a non-resident. (Persons posted in U.N. organizat ions and of f icials deputed abroad by Central/State Governments and Public Sector undertakings on temporary assignments are also treated as non-residents). Non-resident foreign citizens of Indian Origin are treated on par with non-resident Indian citizens (NRIs) for the purpose of certain facilities.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

A candidate for admission to MBBS and BDS courses must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together (40% for SC/BC) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing & BPT courses a Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and English in 10+2 examination.

For candidates applying from boards out of India, the marks sheets have to be forwarded to the Association of Indian Universities (if equivalence certificate is required) and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for verification and subsequent issuance of an eligibility certificate.

The Prospectus can be downloaded from the UG - AT NRI 2015 MBBS/BDS/B.Sc NURSING/BPT link. Every candidate will be required to log on to Admissions 2015 on the institutional website.

Completed Online Application should be submitted latest by 23:59 on 26-05-2015.

A completed application for the NRI undergraduate program consists of the following:

1. Online submission of application form.

2. Remittance of Application fee of Rs. 25500/- ( Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Five Hundred Only, inclusive of Prospectus fee)

Eligibility for Admission

As per pre-requisite for admission to nursing course, Candidates must have appeared in SBVDUNCET - 2014. However, mere appearance in SBVDUNCET - 2014 will not automatically qualify a candidate for admission to nursing course. For admission, the candidate should fulfil the necessary admission requirements prescribed by SRI BALAJI VIDYAPEETH-a Deemed University.

B.Sc. (NURSING)

Candidate for admission to the first year Nursing Course should have passed the H.Sc (Academic / Vocational) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks {40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) in any one of the following three groups combinations and should have studied English as one of the Subjects.

Candidates should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing Course of 3 years of duration from the recognized institutions of INC & TNNMC after completion of H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent. The candidate should be a registered Nurse and Midwife with or without experience or PHN in the hospital / institutions after registration in State Nursing Council

M.Sc.(Nursing)

Candidate should have qualified with the degree of Basic B.Sc(Nursing) / P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) of Pondicherry University or the degree of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Pondicherry University. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST) in B.Sc (Nursing) / P.B.B.Sc (Nursing) course of minimum duration of 4 years / 2 years respectively of course study in the Indian Nursing Council recognized institution. The candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of any State Nursing Council with one year experience after graduation as on 31" July, 2014.

Eligibility for appearing in CET-2014 and subsequent admission:

Common Eligibility Requirements for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS

Only those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course will be considered eligible to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2014) and subsequently for admission to that course.

Nationality and Age

i) The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should be an Indian national and the candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December, 2014.

Qualifications

i) Requisite qualifications for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS courses:

The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 / HSC examination of any recognised Board / University from any school / college situated in India after 12 years of study.

ii) For admission to MBBS / BDS course

For admission to MBBS / BDS course the candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examinations i.e., 10 + 2 / HSC or equivalent. The candidate should also have secured at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at CET-2014 for admission to MBBS / BDS course. The candidate belonging to the scheduled castes / scheduled tribes should have obtained at least 40 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations as well as at CET-2014.

iii) For admission to BAMS Course

The candidate seeking admission to BAMS course should have qualification as mentioned in 4.2 (i). The candidates seeking admission to this course should have passed 10 + 2 / HSC or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology individually and must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (in case of SC/ST students 40 per cent)

iv) For admission to BHMS course

The candidate seeking admission to BHMS course should have qualification as mentioned in 4.2 (i). The candidates seeking admission to this course should have passed 10 +2 / HSC or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually, and must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (in case of SC/ST students 40 per cent)

However, if any seats remain vacant in BHMS course, the candidates having qualifications as prescribed in Central Council of Homeopathy (C.C.H.) as minimum qualification will also be considered eligible for admission. The minimum qualification for admission as prescribed by C.C.H. is ‘That the candidate seeking admission should have passed 12th std. (HSC or equivalent examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as his subjects.’

v) Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 / HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered provisionally eligible to appear for CET-2014, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examinations.

If candidate fails to fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above will not be considered eligible for admission to any of these courses, viz. MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS, even if he / she is placed in the merit list of the CET-2014. The candidates are advised not to submit their application forms for appearing for CET-2014 if they do not fulfill any or all of the relevant eligibility requirements.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune has invited applications for admission to the MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS Programmes offered at the constituent colleges of the University, for 2012-13.

MBBS is offered at Medical College, Pune (150 seats) and Medical College & Hospital, Sangli (100).

BDS is offered at Dental College and Hospital, Pune (100), Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai (100) and Dental College and Hospital, Sangli (100). For BAMS there are 100 seats at Ayurved College & Hospital, Pune and for BHMS, there are 100 seats at Homoeopathic College & Hospital, Pune.

Selection to the Programmes will be based on merit in the All India Common Entrance Test (CET - 2012) to be conducted by the University on 20th May 2012 from 11 am to 2 pm at Pune, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Vadodara (Baroda), Indore, Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Alahabad and Varanasi. The exact location and address of the examination centre of the individual candidate will be communicated to the candidate through his admission card.

CET-2012 will consist of one question paper, to be set in English medium. It will contain 200 multiple choice objective-type questions, 50 each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The detailed syllabus is available in the Brochure given at http://bvuniversity.edu.in/. Each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking. Applicant should be an Indian national, born on or before 1st January 1996. (Applicant should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December, 2012)

However, if any seats remain vacant in BHMS course, those having qualifications as prescribed in Central Council of Homeopathy (C.C.H.) as minimum qualification will also be considered eligible for admission. The minimum qualification for admission as prescribed by C.C.H is a pass in 12th Std. (HSC or equivalent examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as his subjects

Those who fail to fulfil the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above will not be considered eligible for admission to any of these courses, even if placed in the merit list of the CET-2012. 

The CET Fee is Rs.2200/-  Application can be submitted online at http://www.bharatividyapeethuniversity.net/.

Applicant will have to first decide on the mode of payment of the Entrance Examination Fees of Rs.2200/-, which may be paid by way of Demand Draft(DD) or through Payment Gateway using Credit/Debit Master/ Visa cards. The option has to be chosen to proceed with the Registration. In case of DD Option, the DD has to be obtained before filling the online application.

Instructions for filling the online form are available at the site. After all necessary details are entered, the system will display the preview of the completed form in read only mode. For any corrections, applicant may use ‘previous’ button to go to appropriate screen and make corrections. Finally if the applicant is satisfied with the information entered, applicant may click the submit button through preview mode. Now the filled form in PDF format will be generated. Applicant must take the print out of this form, paste a photograph and make a signature at appropriate place provided in the form.

Those who have opted ‘Demand Draft’ as the payment mode, should write the form No, Course Name, Candidate Name and Contact No on the back side of the Demand Draft and attach it to the form, put it in envelope and send it to ‘Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University ‘CET Online Department’, 2nd Floor, Bharati Bhavan, LBS Road, Navi Peth, Pune 411 030’ to reach there latest by 5 pm on 9th May, 2012.

Those opting for Gateway Mode of payment hould not send the form to the University but should carry the form to the examination hall along with 2 passport size photographs and submit the same to the invigilator.

Once the form is received by the office we will process the same and send e-mail containing the admit card and a soft copy of the brochure to the e-mail address provided by the candidate in the application form. A separate print copy of Admit Card will also be mailed to the applicant by post.

AGE: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2012.

Minimum Qualification:

(a) MBBS /BDS/BAMS: The Candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/ Intermediate or its equivalent. After a period of 12 years of study. The last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a Recognized Board/University and must have passed in all the above subjects.

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs the marks obtained in be Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination be 40% in lieu of 50% for general Candidates.

(b) BHMS :- The candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be eligible.

The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination (XII) and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in the common pre –medical entrance examination but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination (XII) on and before the date specified in the information brochure.

However, mere appearance rn SBVUDCET • ZCll will not automatically qualify a candidate for admission to BDS degree course. For admission to EDS degree course, the candidate shoufd fulfil the necessary admission requirements prescribed by SRI BALAJI VIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY.

Minimum Academic Qualification
Candidate for admission to the first year BDS Degree course should have passed the H.Sc (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) in the following subjects. Candidate mustalso have taken English as one of the subjects-Biology (Botany & Zoology) / Physics/Chemistry, Student also should secure above 50% marks in the Common Entrance Test to be etigible for seeking admission.

Age Limit
Candidateshould be 17 years of age as on 31st December 2011. However, no upper age limit has been prescribed.

Permitted Number of Appearances in Qualifying Examination
The maximum number of appearances [Including first appearance} permitted to pass the qualifying examination foradmission to BDS degree course for differentcategories of candidates are given below. (The appearance forthe first time in the qualifying examination is considered asthe first appearance)



Instructions and Guidelines to Fill the Application Form
Candidate desirous of appearing for the Common Entrance Test (SBVUDCET 2011) conducted by SRI BALAJI VIDVAPEETH UNIVERSITY should fill their application in the prescribed format and send directly by post.
Candidates either have to use the application forrn given along with the Information brochure by the college or downloaded application form from website www.sbvuniversity.com / www.balajitrust.org Candidates who use the downloaded application form have to pay Rs.GBO/- (Rupees six hundred and Fifty only) as a Demand Draft separately towards the cost of the application along with the completed application form. The Application and Information booklet can also be obtained in person on payment of Rs,6QQ/- (Rupees six hundred only) by cash from the College Office or can be obtained by Post by sending a requisition along with Demand Draft for Rs.650/- (Rupees six hundred and Fifty only) inclusive of posta! charges drawn in favour of SKI BALAJI VIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY, Payable at Puducherry. After processing, it found eligiblerthe Hail Ticket will be sent tothe candidate by post.


The completed application form should reach the office before 5 00 p m on IB.06 2011, SBVUDCET will not be responsible for postal or any other delay. Incomplete / Wrongly filled application wNI be summarily rejected.
The application received after the due date and time will also be summarily rejected and no further correspondence in the matter will be entertained, Entrance Test application along with the Information brochure is available at above address.
