The Institute of Management, Nirma University, has invited applications for admission to the the MBA programme (two-year residential) offering dual specialization in Finance, Marketing, OB & HR, IT, International Business, Operations and Strategic Management of Academic Year 2012-13.

Eligibility :
A three-year bachelor`s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students appearing in the final examination of a bachelor`s degree can also apply.

Admission Process :
The prospective candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test [CAT]-2011 to be conducted by IIMs. Applicants are required to fill in the application form of the Institute of Management, Nirma Univesity in addition to the CAT form.

Online Application forms : can be filled at www.imnu.ac.in from 15.10.2011 to 31.12.2011.
Online applicants are required to make online payment for the application processing fee of Rs.1,500/- through Credit / Debit Card or net banking.
Offline Application forms : can be directly obtained from “Institute of Management, Nirma University” or from different centres of IMS Learning Resources or TIME on payment of Rs. 1,500/- by cash or demand draft from October 05, 2011 onwards.

Application forms can also be downloaded from website www.imnu.ac.in and the completed application forms can be submitted along with a demand draft for Rs. 1,500/- drawn in favour of “Institute of Management, Nirma University” payable at Ahmedabad. Completed applications should be dispatched so as to reach us latest by December 31, 2011 .

Nirma University is a statutory university established under the Gujarat State Act and recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. which is a leading Institute offering multi-disciplinary Undergarduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D programmes having many nationals awards at it credit.

The Institute invites applications from the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with the percentage of mark as to be decided by the Government of Gujarat under the rules of admission and, appeared in AIEEE 2011 for admission to B.Tech Programmes. The seats will be filled-in as per the following details:

75% seats shall be filled in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination from the schools located in Gujarat State on the basis of merit considering equal weight age of marks obtained in AIEEE 2011 and the marks obtained in the theory of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

25% seats shall be filled in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination with above mentioned subjects from the schools located in India (includng Gujarat State) on the basis of All India Rank of AIEEE 2011.

Eligibility :
Those aspiring to be admitted in the Ph.D. programme must hold a master's degree or equivalent (such as PGDM) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for final examination can also apply, provided they satisfy the eligibility requirement by June 30, 2011.

Selection Process:
The selection procedure for admission consists of two steps :
(i) Written Test:
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their applications and supporting documents and those who are eligible will be called for a written test. The written test will be held atAhmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur.
(ii) Personal Interview:
Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for personal interview on the same day of written test.
The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test and personal interview. The personal interviews are normally held only at Ahmedabad.
