Pondicherry Institute Of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has invited applications from candidates seeking admission to the following MD and MS PG Courses approved by the M.C.I in General Medicine, General Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Physiology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Orthopaedics and ENT (MCI Recognized) Radiodiagnosis, Pulmonary Medicine, Anatomy, Biochemistry and Pharmacology ( MCI approved). They should appear at the PG entrance to be conducted on 25th June 2014 at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry

ELIGIBILITY

a) MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical College/University.

b) Internship must be completed by 30th May 2014.

c) Permanent registration from any State Medical Council before commencing the Course.

SELECTION :

Admission will be based on the performance in the Entrance examination.

Applications are invited by Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University, AP for admission into M.Sc. (Hort.) with specialization in Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture & Landscape Architecture and Plantation, Species, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops and Ph.D. (Hort.) courses from candidates possessing B.Sc.(Hort.)/B.Sc.(Hons.)Horticulture & M.Sc.(Hort.) degree respectively.

ELIGIBILITY:

Ph.D Course:

Qualifications: Candidates with Master?s degree in the major field with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 are eligible. Basic degree i.e B.Sc(Hort.)/B.Sc(Hons.) Horticulture of 4 years as the case may be is essential. The candidates should have submitted the M.Sc. level thesis on or before the last date must complete the thesis final viva-voce examination successfully as on the date of entrance examination.

M.Sc. level Courses:

Candidates must have passed the Bachelor?s degree i.e B.Sc(Hort.)/B.Sc(Hons.) Horticulture of  4 years course from ANGRAU/Dr.YSRHU or from an Institution accredited by ICAR. Minimum OGPA required is 5.50/10.00. The candidates completing their graduation requirements during the year2012-13 should submit course completion certificate issued by the Associate dean of the concerned college. However, The candidate should produce the provisional certificate at the time of counseling ( Mandatory).
