Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent with 60% in aggregate with Science (code 72), Mathematics (code 71) as mentioned by Maharashtra State Board & English as compulsory subjects.

Candidates who have passed the 10th or equivalent exam by doing a part-time course (non-contact) or through distance learning/correspondence/externally/open school are not eligible to apply for the courses.

Candidates should have passed in one attempt .Candidates passing with compartment are not eligible.

Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention 10th or equivalent aggregate marks, not best of four, five or seven. in online registration form.

Candidate above 20 years of age will not be considered for admission to this program.

School of Business Management, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai has invited applications for admission to Ph.D programmes of the Academic Year 2012 in the following specialisations:
Marketing, Human Resources and Behavioural Science, Operations, Finance, Strategy, Information Systems, General Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

Eligibility:
• Candidates with requisite qualifications may be drawn from any of the streams listed below:
Full Time MBA or Full Time PGDM or Part Time MBA (duration of the Program in case of FT MBA & PGDM should not be less than 24 months) or notified by AIU as equivalent to MBA of an University or Masters Degree in any relevant discipline like Commerce / Economics / Statistics / Psychology / Sociology / IT / Engineering etc, or professional qualifications like CA/CS/CWA, etc.

MBA through Distance or correspondence mode will not be eligible to apply.

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination
• With at least 5 years full time work experience in executive or supervisory capacity (out of which atleast 2 years work experience should be after obtaining Masters degree)
• The candidates who wish to attend the Ph.D Programme Full Time are exempted from the requirement of work experience.
• The experience should be full time experience and will NOT include part time experience, internships, projects, etc.

Academic Requirements:
• The Ph.D Program at NMIMS will be offered in three parts: (i) Course Work ii) Research Component (iii) Thesis
• Selected candidates will have to undergo prescribed courses. Exam will be conducted at the end of course work and candidate has to obtain 60% in each of the courses to register for Ph.D
• Course Work will include tools & substantive knowledge

Selection Process:
All candidates will be required to go through a three-stage selection process:
• Candidates have to send application fees through Demand Draft for the programme, along with a two-page 'Statement of Purpose'. Statement of Purpose should briefly describe the area of research interest.
• All candidates will be required to appear for a written Research Aptitude Test.
• Candidates short-listed after the written test will be invited to make a presentation to a team of experts, based on their 'Statement of Purpose'. The presentation will be followed by an interview.

School of Business Management, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai has invited applications for admission to Part time MBA Course of Academic Year 2012.

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduation (10+2+3/4) from a recognized University in any discipline with minimum 3 years work experience in executive, managerial or supervisory capacity upto 30th April 2012.

The experience should be full time experience and NOT include internships, projects etc.
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence/ externally / open school are not eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:
Written Test conducted for Part Time MBA by NMIMS OR
Candidates with GMAT score of 600 & above (GMAT score of last 3 years upto 31st December, 2011 will be considered) OR
Candidates with score of 200 & above in NMAT 2011

Candidates can select the option of Payment through AXIS Bank and take the print out of the Axis Challan. This Challan is in 3 parts. Pay Rs.1650/- in cash at AXIS Bank branch in own city. The bank will return two parts of the stamped challan. One part is to be retained by the candidate. Sign the stamped NMIMS copy of the Pay-in-slip and send it to Deputy Registrar (Admission), SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, V. L. Demand Draft:
Submit a demand draft for Rs.1650/- drawn in favour of 'SVKM’s NMIMS' payable at Mumbai.
