SELECTION:
B. Tech. Programs:
On the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam University to be conducted at all India level in major cities of India on 03-06-2012 and marks scored in the +2 examination. Merit list will be based on marks scored in +2 (200 out of 300) and marks scored in the entrance examination (100 out of 300)
B. Tech. Lateral Entry:
On the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam University to be conducted at all India level in major cities of India on 12-06-2011 with an average of 60% of marks in pre final and final semester put together in a three year diploma course in relevant area.
P.G. Programs:
On the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam University to be conducted on 24-06-2012 at KLU Campus

The Gandhigram Rural Institute (GRI), TamilNadu has invited applications for admission to Ph.D programmes for the session January-2012 in the disciplines viz. Languages, Social Sciences, Sciences, Rural Development, Agriculture & Animal Husbandry and Rural Health & Sanitation.

Candidates having a PG degree in the respective subjects obtained from a recognized Institution / University with 50% marks or an equivalent grade (5% relaxation for SC/ST applicants) can apply for the Ph.D programmes.

The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained in person from the DEPUTY REGISTRAR (ACADEMIC), THE GANDHIGRAM RURAL INSTITUTE-DEEMED UNIVERSITY, GANDHIGRAM-624 302, DINDIGUL DISTRICT, TAMIL NADU on cash payment of Rs. 1000 or through DD for Rs.1000 drawn in favour of The Registrar, The Gandhigram Rural Institute, payable at Canara Bank, Gandhigram (Code 8500) / State Bank of India, Ambathurai (Code 3373) and any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank in Dindigul.

Application form with Prospectus can be had from the Deputy Registrar (Academic) either in person by cash payment or by post by sending a written request specifying the programme and enclosing a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, The Gandhigram Rural Institute –Deemed University payable only in Canara Bank, Gandhigram (Code No.8500) or State Bank of India, Ambathurai (Code No. 3373) or any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank in Dindigul. An additional payment of Rs.50 needs to be made in case of DD drawn from other banks.

Application Cost for all Diploma / UG / PG Dip / Post Diploma / PG / M Phil programmes is as follows:
a. in person Rs.180/-
b. by post Rs.225/-
c. foreigners excluding SAARC and Developing countries US $ 20
No application and registration fee for SC/ST students for any ONE programme on production of a copy of their community certificates.
