COMBINED GEO-SCIENTIST AND GEOLOGIST EXAMINATION, 2014


The written result of the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2014 has been declared by the Commission and the same is available on the Commission's website http://www.upsc.gov.in. It is informed that all the written qualified candidates are required to fill up and submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) ONLINE followed by sending of ink signed copy of the printout of DAF along with their photographs and all relevant documents to the Commission. The DAF shall be available on the Commission's website from 25-09-2014 to 10-10-2014 till 11.59 P.M. Important Instructions for filling up and submitting the ONLINE DAF are also available on the website along with the Rules of Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2014. The last date for the receipt of printed copy of DAF (ink signed) along with relevant documents is 15-10-2014. In the event of non-receipt of ink signed copy of DAF. the candidature will be cancelled without any further notice. The candidates are also required to bring a printed copy of the DAF duly signed (by the candidate) along with original documents and a photocopy each thereof at the time of interview. The Candidates must also check before hand their certificates in accordance with .the important instructions available on the website of the Commission with regard to the certificates that are required to be produced at the time of Interview. The candidates will be solely responsible for not producing sufficient proof in support of his/her age, date of birth, educational qualification, caste (SC/ST/OBC) and physical disability status. The candidates shall be informed for their Personality Test, (likely to be held in the month of November, 2014) through e-mail followed by speed post. CENTRAL POLICE FORCES (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) EXAMINATION. 2011

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2011 at 41 Centres throughout the country on 09.10.2011 (Sunday).


Letters of rejection stating the reason(s) for rejection have also been issued. If any candidate has not received either the Admission Certificate or rejection letter, he/she may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter near Gate 'C of its campus in person or on Telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 or 011-23098543 on all working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs.

The candidates may also send fax messages on Fax No. 011-23387310.

2. Information regarding venues of Examination is also available on Union Public Service Commission's Website at http://www.upsc.gov.in.

The eligible candidates who have not received the Admission Certificates may download the "Venue Information" from the above mentioned website and use it for appearing in the examination.

The candidates intending to appear in the examination using downloaded "Venue Information" are advised to reach the venue of their examination on the day of examination. Such candidates are also advised to carry two identical photographs (one photograph for each session), otherwise they may not be allowed to take the examination. They may also carry proof of their identity such as identity card, Voter Identity Card, Driving Licence, Passport etc to the venue of the Examination.

MOBILE PHONES BANNED:-
(a) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future UPSC examinations.
(b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured.
