Admission To Part-Time B.E/ B.Tech(Part-Time) Self-Supporting Programme-2009

Applications are invited for admission to Part Time B.E(Part Time) Self Supporting Degree Programme, offered in the University Departments of Anna University Tirunelveli for the year 2009 at the following centres:

i) TIRUNELVELI ii) TUTICORIN iii) NAGERCOIL
[Subject to sufficient no of application received, the Centre/Programmes will be declared]
HOW TO APPLY:
Application forms can be had in person at the University Office from 20.11.08 on payment of Rs.500/- (for General categories) and Rs.250/-(in case of SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of copy of community certificate) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Professional Development Education, Anna University Tirunelveli” payable at Tirunelveli.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
a) Qualification:
Candidates should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering/ Technology in the relevant branch of specialization conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination recognized by Anna University.
b) Year of Qualifying for Diploma:
Candidates who have obtained the Diploma in the relevant filed before 01.01.2008 are eligible.
c) Employment:
Shall have been employed for at least one year after passing the entire subject in Diploma.
d) Place of Work:
Candidates should be working in a place within a distance of 65 km from the University so as to enable him / her to attend the classes regularly by 6.15 p.m.
