Military Schools Admissions (class VI) 2009-2010

Applications are invited for entrance examinations for admission to class VI for the academic session 2010 – 11 in the Rashtriya Military Schools located at Bangalore, Belgaum, Ajmer, Chail (Himachalpradesh) and Dholpur. These are fully residential public schools affiliated to CBSE. Common entrance test will be held in December 2009, covering questions from the subjects of intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English.

Eligibility : Applicants should have passed studying in class Vth from a government / recognized schools are eligible to appear for the test. Boys between the age of 10 to 12 years as on 1st 2010 alone will be considered. Six months relaxation in upper age limit is permissible for the wards of personnel killed in action. Selected students will have to undergo medical examination.

Almost all seats are reserved for the wards of JCO / officers and other ranks of Army, Navy and Air force (including ex-servicemen), Civilians and service personnel killed in action.
