Applications are invited from the candidates for admission to the following Para Medical Courses for 2010-2011 session in Government Medical Institutions under the control of Board of Para Medical Education, King Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research, Guindy, Chennai – 32.
Para Medical Certificate Courses
1. Cardio Sonography Technician, ECG/Tread Mill Technician, Pump Technician, Cardiac Catheterisation Lab Technician, Emergency Care Technician, Respiratory Care Technician, Dialysis Technician, Anesthesia Technician, theatre Technician, Orthopedic Technician, Audiometry, Hearing Language and Speech, Clinical, Therapeutic, Nutrition& food Service Management: Candidate who have passed Higher Secondary State Board or Equivalent Board with any subjects shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
2. Certified Radiological Assistant & E.E.G/E.M.G: Candidate Who have passed H.S.C. with Science Subjects in the State of Tamil Nadu with A) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) B) Physics, Chemistry, Biology are eligible for this course.
3. Nursing Assistant: Candidate who has passed S.S.L.C. in the State of Tamil Nadu shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
4. Dental Mechanic (Male) & Dental Hygienist (Female): Candidate who have passed H.S.C. with Science Subjects in the state of Tamil Nadu in A) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and zoology (or) B) Physics, Chemistry, Biology shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
5. Medical Record Technician: Candidate who has passed H.S.C preferably Science Subject and course Certificate in M.S. office in computer from any institution are eligible for this course.
Diploma Courses
6. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology: Candidate who has passed H.S.C. with Science subjects in the state of Tamil Nadu in A) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) B) Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) C) Vocational Medical Laboratory Technician Course shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
7. Diploma in Radiological Technology –D.R.D.T / Diploma in Radiological Technology –D.R.T.T.: Candidate who have passed H.S.C. with Science Subjects in the State of Tamil Nadu in A). Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) B). Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
8. Diploma in Medical Record Science: Candidate must have passed any degree in any recognized University, Certificate/Degree/Diploma in Medical Record Training Course in any one of the institutions recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India which is essential and course certificate in M.S. Office in Computer from any institutions are eligible for this course.
