MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP TO MINORITY STUDENTS FOR 2010-11.

Applications are invited from the students belonging to the Minority Communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist) as notified by the Government of India, who are pursuing Degree or Postgraduate level Professional / Technical Courses as notified by the Ministry of Minority Affairs from the Government / Govt. recognized private Educational Institution, for sanctioning Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship. Under this scheme, Fresh scholarship allotted to religious of Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility

1. Students who got admission, on the basis of competitive  examination or not facing competitive exam can avail scholarship provided they should have obtained 50% marks in the previous year final examination at Higher Secondary / Graduation level.
2. The Annual Income from all Sources of the student's parent or guardian should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.

Last Date for submission of applications to the Institutions by the Students is 26.07.2010 (For Renewal Cases) & 10.08.2010 (For Fresh Cases).

Last date for submission of fresh Application &Renewal claim in the prescribed format by the Institutions with Bank Account and more details are available at http://www.tn.gov.in/bcmbcmw/weifshemes_minorities.htm
