COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY:
1) B.TECH:
B.Tech Programmes are offered in Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer science & Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Geo Informatics, Genetic Engineering, Information Technology, Information & Telecommunication Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics.
Applicant should be a resident Indian National and should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years. For B. Tech, eligibility is a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (a) minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry for all programs (b) minimum 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry for Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Biotechnology and Genetic engineering.
2) B.ARCH:
For admission to B.Arch, eligibility is a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum total aggregate of 60%, with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in NATA.
3) B.Des (INTERIOR DESIGN)
Applicants need a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Admission to B.Des programme will be purely on the basis of performance in the Higher Secondary examination.
4) PG PROGRAMS:
Candidates should be having a minimum aggregrate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination for applying to the PG Courses.
APPLICATIONS:
Application can be obtained from selected branches of State Bank of India, Indian Bank, City Union Bank Limited, Karur Vysya Bank Limited, Axis Bank and post offices as per the list at www.srmuniv.ac.in, on payment of Rs.750/- from 05-12-2010 to 31-03-2010.
Applications can also be obtained from 05-12-2010 to 31-03-2010 from Director (Admissions), SRM University, by sending a DD of Rs.750/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai, with a covering letter mentioning clearly the complete postal address with name and address written on the reverse of the DD.
Application can also be submitted online at www.srmuniv.ac.in till 31st March 2011.

The filled in application along with the DD for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai, should be sent to Director (Admissions) SRM University, with name and address written on the reverse of DD.
Completed application should reach Director (Admissions), SRM University, SRM Nagar, Kattankulathur - 603203, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu latest by 5th April, 2011.
