Eligibility for Admission: Minimum qualification for admission is three years bachelor's degree in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities. However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.
Candidates appearing for their final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect.
Admission Procedure: Admission to the courses are based on three stage process as follows:
1. All India Management Admission Test (XAT)
2. Group Discussion
3. Personal Interview
A candidate desirous of seeking admission will have to appear in an all India level management admission test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur (XAT 2011) on January 2nd 2011. For admission to batches 2011-13, scores of only XAT 2011 will be accepted.
Candidates will have to apply online for appearing in XAT 2011 by visiting www.xlri.net.in and will have to select XISS as affiliated institute.

Duly filled in applications are to be submitted with a Bank Draft, made in favour of Xavier Institute of Social Service payable at Ranchi as per the required fees. ((for one programme Rs. 900/-, two programmes Rs.1500/-, three programmes Rs.1800/-)
Last date for submission of duly filled-in forms to Xavier Institute of Social Service, Dr. Camil Bulcke Path (Purulia Road), Ranchi, Jharkhand - 834001 is 1st February 2011.
