Applications have been invited by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, from Diploma holders of various branches of engineering for following admissions of academic Year 2011-12:
1. For lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in All India Council for Technical Education approved Un-Aided Private Professional Institutions,
2. For Admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders,
3. For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un-aided professional institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India
WHO CAN APPLY:
Candidates applying to the above, should be diploma holders in the following engineering stream:
* Civil
* Electrical and Electronics
* Mechanical (including Automoble, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology & Foot Wear Technology)
* Computer Science Engineering (including Special Diploma)
* Electronics and Communication (including Special Diploma / Special Diploma in TV and Sound Technology/ Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering (including Special Diploma))
* Mining
* Chemical (including Sugar Technology / Ceramic Technology(Sandwich) / Textile Technology / Leather Technology)
* Metallurgy
* Ceramic Technology
* Electronics and Instrumentation (including Special Diploma)
* Bio-Technology
* Pharmacy
* B.Sc., Graduates with Mathematics for the Common Entrance Test
APPLICATION:
The prescribed application form along with instruction booklet containing information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabi etc., for the common entrance test can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 300/- from following designated Andhra Bank main branches: Hyderabad:- Saifabad, Khairatabad, Sanathnagar, Kachiguda,JNTU (Kukkatpalli). R.P.Road (Secunderabad), Hanumakonda, Warangal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Manchirial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahaboobnagar, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Srikakulam, Vizainagaram, Bhimavaram, Tanuku, Eluru, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Maharanipet (Vizag), Gajuwaka (Vizag), Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Eluru Road (Vijayawada), Guntur, Koretipadu(Guntur), Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati, S.V.Arts College (Tirupati), Kurnool, Kadapa, Nandayal, Anantapur and Post Offices from 21.02.2011 to 27.04.2011.
The filled in application form with necessary enclosures can be submitted to the CONVENER, ECET [ FDH & B.Sc. (Maths) ]- 2011, ECET Office, Room No 305, Administrative Building, JNTUH Campus, JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085 in person or by Registered Post/Speed Post so as to reach him on or before 08-04-2011(5.00 pm)
The late fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad must be enclosed to the filled in application form. After 28th April, 2011 the applications can be obtained from the ECET [ FDH & B.Sc. (Maths) ] - 2011 Convener's Office.

For online submission, candidate has to purchase a DD for Rs. 300/- in favour of "Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE) payable at hyderabad".
