National Aptitude Test (NAT-2011) on 22nd May 2011 (SAHEI - NAT 2011)

SRDE's Association of Higher Education Institutions (SAHEI) will  conduct the National Aptitude Test (NAT-2011) on 22nd May 2011, for admission to courses of study in vocational, professional, management and allied areas at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels in member Institutions.  NAT-2011 is conducted at two levels: NAT-UG for undergraduate level and NAT-PG for post-graduate level programmes.

ELIGIBILITY

NAT-UG [ Under-graduate ]
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed or appeared / are going to appear in the 10+2 of recognised Boards in 2011 are eligible to appear for NAT-UG and their results will be valid only if they clear the Senior Secondary or equivalent examination of the approved Boards.

NAT-PG [ Post-graduate ]
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed or appeared / are going to appear in the final year of the graduate degree courses of UGC /AICTE recognised Universities / Institutions in 2011 are also eligible to appear for NAT-PG and their results will be valid only if they clear the qualifying examination.

d) The NAT-UG and NAT-PG Bulletin –cum- Registration-form can also be downloaded from www.natindia.com

M.Phil and Ph.D Courses of NUEPA, New Delhi

Kochi, Jan 11, 2011: National University of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi, has invited applications for admission to M. Phil. and Ph. D. Programmes of Academic Year 2011- 12.

Eligibility
I. M. Phil. Programme
(a) Candidates seeking admission to the M.Phil. Programme shall have minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disabilities) or its equivalent grade in Master's Degree in Social Sciences and allied disciplines from a recognized university. Candidates possessing Master's degree in other areas may also be considered if he/she has teaching experience or experience of working in the area of educational policy, planning and administration.
(b) The NET qualified candidates, who have been awarded Junior Research Fellowships by the UGC, with the above-mentioned educational qualifications are encouraged to apply.
(c) Candidates who are yet to clear their final examination at the Master's level are also eligible to apply provided they pass the examination as per the eligibility conditions laid down above and submit its proof at the time of the interview.

II. Full-time Ph.D. Programme
1. Candidate with M.Phil. Degree in an area closely related to educational policy, planning and administration in addition to the qualifications mentioned above and/or having exceptionally brilliant academic record in social sciences/allied areas coupled with publications of high quality.
2. M.Phil, graduates of NUEPA will be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Programme after due scrutiny by a Selection/Admission Committee, if they obtain a FGPA of 6 or above on the ten point scale.

III. Part-time Ph.D. Programme
A candidate seeking admission to Part-time Ph.D. programme is required to meet the following criteria:
i.     Should possess the educational qualifications as mentioned above;
ii.    Currently, should be in full-time employment;
iii.   Should be a senior level educational functionary with a minimum of five years work experience in teaching or in educational planning and administration.

Application:
Candidates have to apply in the prescribed form (separately for each programme) for admission to M. Phil, and Ph. D. programmes along with three copies of the brief write-up on the proposed research topic on a contemporary issue within the broad framework of educational policy, planning and administration.

The Application Form can be obtained from NUEPA by remitting a non-refundable sum of Rs. 200/-(Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates) by demand draft in favour of Registrar, NUEPA, payable at New Delhi, and if required by post or purchased in person, through a request addressed to The Registrar, National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), 17-B, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016.
