Eligibility:
Candidates with Pass in Higher Seconday or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can apply for BTech.
For applying to MTech, candidates should have passed a four year Bachelor's degree with 60% marks in any of the following disciplines:

Food Technology,
Post Harvest Technology
Agricultural Engineering and
Agricultural Process Engineering
Those who have passed a four year Bachelor's Degree and two years Master's degree with 60% marks in any of the following disciplines can apply for PhD course:

Applications can be obtained from IICPT office from29.07.2011, during all working days between 09.30 am to 05.00 pm by paying Rs.500/- for OC/OBC, Rs. 250 for SC / ST in Cash / DD in favour ‘The Director, IICPT’ payable at Thanjavur.
Completed application form addressed to 'The Director, Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Pudukkottai Road, Thanjavur - 613 005', should reach on or before 5.00 pm, 26 August, 2011.
