Applications are invited by University of Calcutta for admission in the Department of Linguistics for the PhD programme leading to PhD degree in Linguistics.

Eligible candidates will have to appear in a written examination of 3 hours duration, to be held in this Department on the 30th January, 2012 at 12 noon.
Applicants who have already passed NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations are not required to appear at the written examination.
The last date for submission of application forms is the 13th January, 2012.
