Applications have been invited by Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar for admission to various courses of Academic Year 2012-13 through all India Entrance examination scheduled on June 19, 2011.

(Eligibility : 10+2+3 with 50% marks in graduation from any recognized University. Candidates aspiring for MSc Yogic Science and Holistic Health need to have a BSc degree from Bio group)

* PG Diploma Human Consciousness & Yog Therapy

(Eligibility : Bachelor's degree with 50% marks from any recognized University 10+2 or Intermediate with 50% marks).

(Eligibility : 10+2 or Intermediate. Age Limit- 30 yrs. Age limit is 35 years for those candidates who are applying for Rural Management or Theology with 1-5 years' work experience in a socially active organization).

How to apply :
Prospectus can be obtained by paying Rs. 200 /- at the DSV university. To obtain prospectus by post, send Bank draft of Rs 250/- in favour of Registrar, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, payable at Haridwar). Filled in application form along with a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (in favor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, payable at Haridwar), must reach the Registrar Office on or before the last date of submission. Application for change of examination centre would attract a fee of Rs. 200/-. The final decision on this issue would be taken by the Registrar, DSVV.

Applicants should enclose two self addressed envelops (9”X4”) along with the duly filled application form.

Admission Procedure
Student will be admitted to the university on the basis of an entrance test, which will be conducted in two stages.
Master’s Degree and Post Graduate Diploma Courses
Stage - I This stage contains 4 sections based on objective questions.
Time Duration 2 Hours
Section - I General Knowledge
Section - II English Language
Section - III Dev Sanskriti, Shantikunj, Rishiyugma and other Spiritual topics
Section - IV Subject Knowledge related to the Course
Stage - II Interview of the selected candidate from Stage - I


Graduate Degree and Certificate Courses
Stage - I This stage contains two sections based on objective questions
Time Duration 1 Hour
Section - I General Knowledge
Section - II English Language
Stage - II Interview of the selected candidate from Stage - I


B.Ed. Course
Stage - I This stage contains two papers based on objective questions
Time Duration 2 Hours
Paper - I General Knowledge and English/Hindi Language Proficiency
Paper - II Reasoning and Aptitude (Arts/Science/Commerce), Dev Sanskriti, Shantikunj, Rishiyugma and other Spiritual topics.

Note: DSVV, Haridwar is the only examination centre for B.Ed. entrance examination.
There is a provision for negative marking in written entrance examination.

The university holds the right to cancel any application form at any stage without any prior notice to the candidate.
Reservation will be applicable according to Uttarakhand Govt. rules.

Kindly note that the University is run from public donation and is working for altruistic cause. Therefore, it is expected from the candidates to deposit necessary maintenance charges at the
time of admission.
A refundable caution deposit of Rs. 1000/- would be charged at the time of admission. (Refundable within one year of course completion)
An additional fee of US $ 150 would be applicable to the overseas students in the first academic year

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (University) is situated in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India at the foothills of the Himalayas in the vicinity of the holy Ganges. It was established in 2002.
