ADMISSION PROCESS
Eligibility Criteria
First Year: H.S.C. Science (English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) - 45% for General Category
and 40% for Reserved Category candidates.
Second Year: AICTE approved Diploma in Printing Technology.
Age Limit
If the candidate is applying in the General Category he / she should be less than 25 years of age as of
August 31, 2012. Applications from candidates over this age will not be entertained. If the candidate is
applying in Reserved Category he / she should be less than 28 years of age as of August 31, 2012.
Applications from candidates over this age will not be entertained.
Intake Limit
The total intake is 60 seats for First year and 60 seats for Second year

Reservation
Reservation of seats is as per GoI norms : 15% for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes and
27% for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer). Supernumerary Seats: 3% for Persons with
Disability; 1% for Kashmiri Migrants; and 15% for international students.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
All candidates are required to strictly apply through an online application at https://beprinting.tiss.edu
Application Fees Rs. 1000/- (Rs.950/-application fee + Rs.50/- as bank processing charges) to be
deposited in ‘Power Jyoti’ account in any branch of SBI.
Notes:
I. In case of payment by cash deposit in SBI branch, please note that the SBI will charge
processing fee for each deposit, which cannot be adjusted against the application fee.
II. Payment made through demand draft, pay order or any other than the mode specified
above will NOT BE ACCEPTED, and the application will be rejected and no
communication to this effect will be sent to such candidates.

Information for SC, ST and OBC candidates
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Nomadic and De-Notified Tribe candidates, whose
parent’s/guardian’s income is less than Rs. 2 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs only) are exempted from paying
the Application Fee. They should apply online through the E-application.
Candidates from remote places can send a
(i) request letter without the payment challan,
(ii) a plain self-addressed stamped envelope, and
(iii) copies of Caste and Income Certificate attested by any School Headmaster
or a Principal of College or a Gazetted Officer.
Request received without the above Certificates will be rejected and no communication will be sent in
this regard.
Additional Information
 Candidates submitting E-application in multiple numbers will be disqualified.
 Application fee paid by the candidates will not be refunded if they are found to be ineligible for
the programme.
 Incomplete application forms and forms with inconsistent information will be rejected.
 Applications received after the due date will not be considered and the Application Fee paid
will also not be refunded.
