Applications should be submitted online on or before November 21, 2012.

The IIA Screening Test (IIAST) will be held on December 15, 2012 at examination centers located at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Madurai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Selected candidates will be offered fellowship as per the norms of the Institute along with an annual book grant, accommodation and medical facilities.

HOW TO APPLY:

There are TWO steps in the application procedure. Candidates must first register by entering their name and valid e-mail address in the appropriate registration boxes from link http://www.iiap.res.in/phd2012_beta/?q=user/register.  A welcome message with further instructions will be sent to entered e-mail address. The Application Form also requires the names and e-mail addresses of two referees. If candidate qualify written Exam then we will contact the referees requesting them to fill and submit the online Confidential Assessment Form. The candidates should inform their referees about the Assessment Form. Please e-mail the administrator at webmaster@iiap.res.in  in case of any problems with the online forms. Admit cards (Hall tickets) will be sent by emails to the candidates in due course. Based on the marks in the written test, a further subset of the candidates will be invited to attend interviews at Bangalore. The final selection will be based on the interviews.

Attach the scanned copies of mark sheets and certificates along with the application form (preview page). We prefer that you upload the scanned copies of certificates etc, but in case of extreme difficulty please send the scanned copies (before the deadline) by email to: bgs_info@iiap.res.in
