Sub:     Lateral entry admission   to M.A. (Distance Education) - 2^nd year – Jan. 2013 cycle – reg.

 

 Dear Student,

 We are pleased to inform you that the university has decided to offer admission in Lateral entry to M.A.(Distance Education) programme commencing in January 2013 to those DDE/PGDDE students who have successfully completed  the Programme upto Dec 2012   TEE.  The students enrolled in first year M.A (Distance Education) in January 2012 and the earlier DDE/PGDDE graduates,  Lateral Entry  will enter 2013 cycle of 2^nd Year M.A (Distance Education) with revised materials and revised fees.  The Course Registration Form is enclosed.

 

2.  You are required to fill up the form and send it to the Regional Centre along with the Programme fee of Rs.3600/- (Rupees Three Thousand Six Hundred only) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city of the Regional Centre latest by  30^th November 2012. Course Registration form received after the due date or without the programme fee of Rs. 3600/- will be summarily rejected. The second year of M.A (Distance Education) programme revised material i.e. MDE series starts from January -2013.

3.         You will be allotted with a new Enrolment Number for M.A. (Distance Education) (Lateral Entry) 2^nd year programme. Kindly fill-up the enclosed STUDENT CARD, affix passport size photograph and submit to the Regional Director for attestation.  Maximum duration for completion of all the requirements for the award of M.A. (Distance Education) degree would be two years from the date of admission to M.A. (Distance Education) - 2^nd year.

Checklist of items to be attached with the Lateral entry Form:

1.  Attested copy of mark sheet of DDE/PGDDE successfully completed.

2.  Demand Draft of Rs.3600/- drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city of the Regional Centre.

3.  Student Card, duly filled-in, with passport size photograph affixed.

     (Enrol. No. will be allotted by the Regional Centre).
