ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION IN PH.D. COURSES 2012

Applications are invited for the Entrance Test for admission in Ph.D. programmes in Medical subjects [Anatomy= 02, Physiology= 01, Paediatrics (Neonatology)= 01, General Surgery= 03, Community Medicine = 02, Microbiology = 01, Pathology = 02], Non-Medical subjects [Zoology = 02, Microbiology = 2, Pharmacy = 01, Environmental Sc. = 2, Education = 05, Management = 4, Computer Science = 01, Fine Arts (Painting) = 01] & in Dental Science = 06.

Duration – Minimum 2 Yrs. (for MSc. Medical applicant minimum 3 yrs.)

Eligibility - at least 55% marks in post-graduation (where ever applicable). For Medical subjects MD/MS/PG Diploma or MSc. Medical in relevant subject.

Application forms available at the Registrar’s office or may be downloaded from University website: www.subharti.org, application form should reach Registrar office along with DD worth Rs. 1500/- in favour of ‘Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’ payable at Meerut latest by 29 October 2012. Amount may also be paid in cash at Accounts Department.

Test will be conducted on 25th November 2012 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon at Subharti campus. Applications of ineligible candidates & incomplete application forms will be rejected. Admit cards will be issued only to eligible candidates from the Registrar’s office, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Subhartipuram, N.H- 58, Delhi Haridwar Bypass Road, Meerut. The applicants who have qualified UGC/CSIR/GATE or M. Phil. are required to indicate accordingly in the application form.

Test Pattern: - The Entrance Test shall be of hundred (100) multiple choice questions. 50 questions shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. Rest 50 questions will be of subject for which candidate is applying.
