DESIGN
M-JPAT, (MANAGEMENT- JOINT PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT TEST) is  an attempt to provide a unified platform for students and participating MBA colleges for the second round of the MBA selection process in India. M-JPAT is a complete second round application, selection and admission process after the written exam.

Objectives:
M-JPAT, an Envista Mindmap Services (P) Ltd. initiative, in association with participating MBA colleges, is set to revolutionize the way the second round of the MBA ENTRANCE PROCESS is conducted in India. The objective of the test is to match a student's capabilities and preferences with the offerings of an MBA college, thereby “ensuring business education to all aspirants”.

M-JPAT Features:
One Admission Application Form at Rs 1900/- to apply to all the associated MBA colleges. The process seeks to relieve students from the burden of filling up individual college application forms and also minimizes the associated costs.
AICTE approved written test scores to be accepted. Students with valid written test scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT and ATMA are eligible to appear for M-JPAT.
A unified second round process- The second phase of testing for all students who have taken the written test will be done through group discussions and personal interviews. Students registering for M-JPAT process will have to appear for just one combined GD and PI session as a part of the selection process for securing admission to any one of the
associated MBA colleges. The second round process will be conducted at 65 locations across the country.
Comprehensive and correct information-M-JPAT website and brochure will contain institute-specific details with respect to infrastructure, faculty, accreditation, placements, fees etc.
Each MBA college will finally select screened applicants from the M-JPAT process based on their specific criteria.
One stage final selection and admission process- The Personality Assessment Round will be followed by the Final Selection and Admission Process to various programs of the associated MBA colleges. It is a one stage/online process. The admission process will be completed within 15 days of the offer being made by an MBA college.
Students will be allotted colleges based on the calls obtained from various colleges, their preferences and their M-JPAT RANK.

M-JPAT: MBA Application & Selection Process:
Student applies to associated MBA colleges with one form Cost involved: Rs 1900/-
Application form will be processed for all the associated colleges
Student appears for only one common GD-PI process conducted by M-JPAT in association with MBA colleges

M-JPAT unified GD-PI process conducted at 65† locations for all the associated colleges
(The entire process will be videographed.)

Based on student performance, data, colleges will screen & short-list student and issue call letters

Call letters are issued to the students
Students mark their preferences for the colleges based on calls received

Allotment of colleges happens as per rank, preference and available seats
Student takes admission to the allotted college

M-JPAT Process Structure with Important Dates:
Student Registration
Start Date: 1st November 2012

Student Admit Card Issuance: Start Date: 5th January 2013

Student Personality Assessment Round
Start Date: 20th January 2013
conducted at 65 locations across the country
End Date: 31st March 2013

Score Computation:
Students submit their valid written test scores by 30th March 2013

Scores sent to students by 15th April 2013 with M-JPAT Ranks.

Colleges shortlist students and issue call letters via M-JPAT
Result Date: 15th April 2013



STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Start Date:1st November 2012 - End Date: 25th December 2012
The online STUDENT REGISTRATION Form will be made available from 1st November 2012. The application vouchers will be available at selected branches of Axis Bank nationwide and preparatory/coaching centres. Last date for submitting the completed Online Application Form will be 25th December 2012.
Students can fill, and pay for, the forms in the following manner:
Fill the form online (on the M-JPAT website) and pay online using credit or debit cards.
Obtain an application voucher from preparatory/coaching centres or from selected branches of Axis Bank, nationwide, by paying the required amount and then filling the form online.

Student Eligibility
The candidate must hold a valid Bachelor’s Degree, awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university / institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the university / institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.
The candidate should also have appeared/applied for an AICTE APPROVED written test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT & ATMA taken during the period September 2012 - February 2013). The result of the test should be submitted by 30th March 2013. Any exam whose results are not declared by 30th March 2013 will not be considered for evaluation.

The cost of application form is Rs 1900/- and is available at designated branches of AXIS BANK nationwide.
