Applications
in prescribed form are invited for admission into ½ years
M. Phil. Programme in Bengali (Total Seats=20) for
the session 2012-13.
Eligibility:
- Passed M.A. in Bengali with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST
candidates) from any UGC recognized University. Reservation of seats as per
State Government Rules.
Application
form priced Rs. 300/- (For SC/ST- Rs. 200/-) may be obtained from
the Admission Section of University of Kalyani between 11.00 a. m and 3.00
p.m. on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, during
November 19, 2012 to November 30, 2012. Details are available at: www.klvuniv.ac.in.

date for receiving of application forms: November 30, 2012.
The
candidates will have to appear for an admission test. The admission test will
comprise of a written test of 100 marks and an interview. Candidates qualifying
the admission test will be called for the interview. Candidates who have
qualified NET/SET, are exempted from the written test. Interview will be held
on the basis of a research proposal to be submitted by the candidates in
time of application. Filled-up application forms along with necessary
documents and a research proposal within 500 words should reach to the office
of the Department of Bengali.
Documents
to be submitted along with the application form: Copy of age-proof certificate,
mark sheet of B.A. and M.A. Examination, Certificate of NET/, and caste certificate(if
any).
