Notice for MSc Mathematics (2013)
The next admission test for MSc (Mathematics) for the 2013-15
session will be:
Date: Sunday, 17 February 2013 (written)
Time: 11am-2pm
Students who have qualified for NBHM MSc Fellowships may appear for the interview
directly. They should submit the applicaton form with a copy of the NBHM result
attached.
Tentative interview dates for those who qualify: 23, 24 February
2013 (10 am -- 5 pm)
It is strongly recommended to provide an email address and phone
nunber so that result of the test can be
sent by email in the event of a postal delay.

Eligibility:
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics / Physics / Statistics or BMath / BStat
/ BE / BTech to be completed by the end of the academic year in which the student
appears for the examination. Students who have secured 50% or more (in honours
subjects) till the end of their penultimate year of undergraduate studies may
appear for the written examination. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC / ST
candidates.

Application forms and prospectus is available during office hours
at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Campus, Narendrapur, (near Main Gate) on payment
of Rs.250/- by cash.
Forms may also be downloaded from the website http://www.rkmvu.ac.in and the duly filled in forms may be sent by
post to: Dean, IRDM Faculty Centre of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda
University, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur, P.O. Narendrapur, Kolkata
700103, with a demand draft for Rs.300/-, drawn in favour of ‘Ramakrishna
Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur, RKMVERI’ .
