About the Training Course:
To introduce about the Ensembl that annotates
chordate genomes and to provide hands on training on the tools for biological
research.
Topics include:
Browsing Ensembl genome browser, Extracting
information using Biomart,
Variation detection, Comparative Genomics and Gene regulation.
Level of Participants:
Academicians / Scientists / Research Scholars and PG
Students working or desirous of working in the area of Biotechnology, Computational
Biology, Bioinformatics and various other branches of Sciences are invited to
attend the training course.
Registration Fee:
There is no registration fee. Participation certificate,
Course material and working lunch will be provided. Accommodation can be
arranged on payment basis.
