2014-2016
L M Thapar School of Management, Thapar University
has invited applications for admission to MBA course of 2014-16.
Eligibility
criteria for MBA-2 years’ programme
1. Graduate Degree in any discipline with 50% marks
in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or equivalent grade from recognized
University/Institute.
2. Candidate must have valid CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE
score.
Candidates appearing in the final exam of the
qualifying degree (as mentioned in the Information Brochure) are eligible to
apply, provided they have no backlog course(s) in any of previous semesters/
years of their study. The candidates who are in the final year of their study
(qualifying exam) can also apply for the MBA programme. However, such
candidates are required to submit proof of passing their qualifying exam on or
before 31 July, 2014.
Admission
process
1. Candidates need to apply online for the MBA
admission. The online application form is available at www.thapar.edu.
2. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of
their CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE score.
3. Final selection will be based on
CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE score (40%), Group Discussion (10%) and performance in
Personal Interview (50%).
Applications:
Candidates seeking admission in LM Thapar School of
Management (LMT•SOM), Thapar University (TU) shall fill up the application form
available online on www.thapar.edu.
The completed forms should be posted along-with a
demand draft of Rs. 1500 /- in favour of Thapar University, Patiala-147004
(Pb.). You can pay the required amount online or attach DD (in favour of Thapar
University and payable at Patiala).
Application complete in all respects should reach
the “Incharge Admission Cell”, Thapar University, Patiala-147004.
