PhD Admission for the session commencing from December 2013
Applications are invited by Indian Institute of
Technology, Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) for admission for the session commencing from
December 2013 in the following programmes:
PhD (Engineering):
Eligibility:
MTech / ME / MSc (Engg.) degree in the respective
or allied area. The candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering /
Technology or Master's degree in Sciences in an allied area with exceptional
academic record and having a valid GATE score may also apply. For Ph.D. in
BSBE, candidate with MBBS, BPharma or MPharma Degree may also apply. Candidate
with Master's degree in Management may apply for PhD in Industrial and
Management Engineering (IME).
PhD (Sciences & HSS):
Eligibility:
MSc / MA Degree in respective or allied area with a
valid GATE / UGC / CSIR score.

downloaded or personally obtained from the Academic Section up to November 08,
2013 free of cost.
The application fee is Rs. 400 for General and OBC
candidates, and Rs. 200 for SC / ST candidates and all PD. candidates
(including General and OBC). The fee must be paid through a demand draft
payable to The Registrar, IIT Kanpur payable at Kanpur.
Last date for submission of completed application is November
13, 2013.
