BITS Pilani/ Goa/ Hyderabad Integrated BE/ BPharm/ MSc admissions through BITSAT 2014

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani), Pilani, invites applications for BITSAT 2014, which is a computer based online test for admission to the following integrated first degree programmes, first semester 2014-15 at its Goa, Hyderabad and Pilani campuses.

Eligibility

Candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criteria is Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects and adequate proficiency in English. However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2014.

Direct Admission to Board Toppers.

Students who obtain First Rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2014 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2014 score

The prescribed fees for BITSAT-2014 is Rs.1900/- (1400/- for female candidates).

Deadline to register for BITSAT-2014 by filling the online form alongwith the prescribed fee is 5.00 PM on 15th February 2014.

BITSAT-2014 is an objective type (multiple choices) questions, 3 hour test, which will be conducted between 14th May – 1st June 2014.
